Rules - READ THIS FIRST

Hello and welcome to Camp Half-Blood! Before you begin to live the fantastic life of a demigod, satyr, or mortal with Sight, there are a few things you should know.

-I am Athena, goddess of wisdom and battle strategy. I am in charge, and if you cross me, you will die a slow, torturous, painful death (be deleted). If you have any questions about the site, feel free to ask me; in the meantime, try and figure things out on your own. It's not that complicated.

-Do not GM. God-Modding, GMing, or any other variation of the word is where you control another person's thoughts or actions without their permission. GMing is allowed only when they say it's OK, and even then we have to keep a close watch on it. If I catch you GMing, the first time will result in a warning, the second a warning and a temporary ban, and the third permanent deletion from the site.

-You don't own anything you post. You don't claim to own it or endorse it. So prove it. By signing on this page, you promise that you do not own, are not making money off of, and are not advertising PJO in any way, shape, or form. And you HAVE to sign this page to be a member of the site.

-The only canon characters are Chiron and the gods. You cannot be one of the gods. All gods are administrators, and unless you are an administrator, you are not a god. If you want to be Chiron, contact me and I'll see what I can do. You also cannot be the descendants of any half-blood (because they wouldn't come to camp) unless the canon character's descendant hooked up with a god or if you are a satyr. It'd be fine if you were the grandchild of Grover; it would not be fine if you were Percy and Annabeth's son.

-If you want to be a child of the Big Three, you need permission from me. If you want to be the child of a minor god, you are allowed, but you may not get your own cabin.

-There IS a plotline; however, it will not take affect until enough people are on the site. It will not be hard to follow, and you will be alerted when it begins. Also, it is currently the beginning of summer. Do not post at anywhere that you would not be at the beginning of summer, please.

-There are some positions we are only accepting a certain number of people for. We are taking any amount of demigods; however, we are only taking:
1 oracle - Briannon Keller
5 mortals with sight -
15 satyrs -
And no centaurs other than Chiron.
If you have any trouble with this decision, bring it up with me. (But don't say that there should be 3 oracles. We're sticking to canon here.)

-I will not tolerate bullying. If your character is, say, a child of Ares and is a bully IC, then it's fine while your posting. In the chatbox, however, I expect you to be polite and patient. Also, you need to follow any teacher's rules if you decide to take classes; though they are not mandatory, you need to understand that the teacher is your superior.

-This site is PG, which means no sexual content and limited cursing. If you absolutely HAVE to use sezual content, take it to PM; the majority of us don't want to read it. And some cursing is fine, but no firetruck words. And please? No pregnancy. If pregnancy is imperative for your personal storyline, PM me about it; if not, just don't use it.

-Quests will be held on a monthly basis. At random, we will choose a demigod to see the Oracle and be given a prophecy. After that, they will be given permission to either give the quest to someone else or to choose two people to come along with you; another demigod and a satyr. You will spend the rest of the month on your quest. If you cannot make heads or tails of the prophecy, PM me or the Oracle and one of us will explain the basic layout of the quest. While on the quest, you cannot make a post anywhere but the quest. Quests must take at least one IRL business week (5 days) to complete, though you have up to a month.

-Posts must be at least 50 words long. I know that this rule always seems to suck, but it's hard to reply to a one liner. Just describe their surroundings; how they're seeing, thinking, feeling. Once you get started, it's not hard.
