Death by Heat is not a Good Way to Go (Open!)
Aaralyn sat down on her towel, her blonde hair gathered into a messy bun on top of her hair. Sweating rolled down her neck and tendrils of hair was sticking to her face. It was a particularly hot day in July, but it was nothing that Aaralyn couldn't handle. It was a little comfortable sitting in the heat reading though. Yet, it was better than being in her cabin with all her male siblings. Aaralyn ached for a girl to be around that was a total bitch to her. Maybe this summer she would meet someone who wasn't bitter. That would be nice.
Due to the hot weather, Aaralyn wore shorts that were barely long enough to be considered shorts. It was the only things that Aaralyn felt remotely comfortable in because of the weather. She also wore a light blue tank-top that seemed too heavy. She wore her glasses because she was reading and her eyes darted from word to word quickly. Even though Aaralyn was a child of Aphrodite, she still enough novels. Mostly romance of course.
Being so deep in thoughts, caused Aaralyn not to notice another person standing in the pavilion until they cleared their throat. Jumping in shock, Aaralyn looked at the person, mumbling a quick apology as she waited for them to say something.

Jon entered the Pavilion, only clad in swimming trunks from an earlier swim and sandals. He had been in and out of the lake all day and hadn't seen any reason to change.
Pausing as he saw a girl reading, he frowned, trying to make out the title. Dang dyslexia... the girl looked really familiar. Before the girl could notice him, Jon scrambled up to the Pavilion's roof, grinning as he popped his head over the side. "'Ello there!" he greeted happily.
He was going through a Doctor Who kick, and couldn't resist the temptation.

Looking at the boy curiously, Aaralyn brushed her hair out of her face so she could see him better. "Hello..." Aaralyn drawled, feeling a little wary around the odd boy, even if he looked familiar. "Who are you?" Aaralyn wondered, smiling softly, not wanting to seem rude.
The boy looked like someone she had seen many times before, she just couldn't place where. Well, whatever, she would know soon enough.

Jon blinked, and deciding to play around with her, grinned brightly. "I'm the Doctor, of course! Who're you?" he questioned, jumping up on a picnic table.
"Ah, wait, you're my half sister!" Jon recognized her, grinning down at the blonde. "Like I said, I'm the Doctor. Of course, I'm the 13th Doctor, as I don't have a fez...or bowtie...Fezzes are cool now. Did you know that?" he grinned, hoping it looked at least a bit eccentric.

Aaralyn kept looking at the boy curiously, wondering if he had too much coffee this morning. It could be a possibility. Aaralyn knew that some people at this camp couldn't handle their caffeine very well. "I'm Aaralyn..." she trailed off, her voice making it sound like she was asking a question.
Hearing him recognize, Aaralyn sighed. "You must be Jonathon. I doubt you're James or Thomas. And no, I have no clue what in the world you're talking about." Aaralyn stated with a laugh. Aaralyn had to admit that her half-brother was a little odd.

"It's nice to meet you!" Jon grinned, jumping down from the table, his Guess flip flops squishing slightly. "I'm Jon- wait, you've already realized that, but anyways. Call me Jon. Or the Doctor."
"James? I don't believe I've met him...which is strange, since I've been hear for five or so years." Jon shrugged. "Thomas is just an arse." He chewed the inside of his cheek thoughtfully, eyes widening. "Why haven't I et you yet, eh?"
